My YA/NA loving heart adored this book! It is a true coming of age story and showed how the friendship between Elliot and Auden grew over the course of time。 Their friendship took front and center, until their slow burn chemistry starting taking over。。。 and these two have so much chemistry between them。 I don't want to go into too many details, but know that this book was extremely enjoyable to read and there is plenty of heart, steam, angst, and connection throughout these pages! I've always had a soft spot for well told YA romance, and Author C。W。 Farnsworth writes some of the best。 With Like I Never Said, she's given us another heartwarming story of best friends who are afraid to cross the line by saying those three little words。When Auden meets Elliot, she's on a two week "summer vacation" with her extended family in Canada。 She's a California girl, and this stay is definitely temporary, but that doesn't stop her from forming a fast friendship with Elliot。 When she le I've always had a soft spot for well told YA romance, and Author C。W。 Farnsworth writes some of the best。 With Like I Never Said, she's given us another heartwarming story of best friends who are afraid to cross the line by saying those three little words。When Auden meets Elliot, she's on a two week "summer vacation" with her extended family in Canada。 She's a California girl, and this stay is definitely temporary, but that doesn't stop her from forming a fast friendship with Elliot。 When she leaves, they stay in touch and their friendship only continues to grow。 Auden's feelings for Elliot grow too, but he made it clear from Day 1。。。she's strictly in the friend zone, because that's all he has to offer her。I loved the flow of this story as it's told year by year, summer by summer。 I enjoyed watching Auden and Elliot's relationship grow and their feelings change toward each other。 This is a lighter read - not much angst, but plenty of feels。 It's a story of never ending friendship and all of those "firsts" that come with growing up and falling in love。 This book had me smiling, tearing up, and remembering the feelings of being in love for the very first time。 I absolutely adored this one! 。。。more

I don’t even have the right words to express how much I absolutely loved every single moment of this beautifully written story , it’s touching , sincere , heartfelt and perfect In every single way 。 I guarantee once you meet Auden and Elliott you are going to find it extremely hard not to fall in love with them 。 Both so likable , so relatable and so very captivating。Auden has just finished her sophomore year of high school when she finds out her parents age getting divorced 。 To say it hits her I don’t even have the right words to express how much I absolutely loved every single moment of this beautifully written story , it’s touching , sincere , heartfelt and perfect In every single way 。 I guarantee once you meet Auden and Elliott you are going to find it extremely hard not to fall in love with them 。 Both so likable , so relatable and so very captivating。Auden has just finished her sophomore year of high school when she finds out her parents age getting divorced 。 To say it hits her hard would be a understatement。 She is send to spend some time in Canmore Canada for the summer where she has family 。unfortunately neither her aunt or her cousin are very welcoming。 She spends most of her days by herself until she walks into the local coffee shop and meets Elliott 。 Elliott is also in high school , he doesn’t date , he definitely is not interested in relationships and he is a hockey player who’s dream is to go pro 。 But what neither realizes is that their lives are about to change for the better A friendship neither expected quickly develops in fact they very quickly become the best of friends , sharing things with each other they’ve never shared with anyone else but that’s only the beginning。 For many more summers Auden returns to Canmore and to Elliott, their feelings grow stronger and stronger but due to certain circumstances they never end up telling each other how they feel 。 Both go off the college in different states of course keeping in touch but the question is will they ever find the courage to tell one another how they really feel 。 What a emotional rollercoaster, this is such a awesome story of friendship, love , family , intrigue, heartbreak, and so much more 。。。more

I liked this book。 Elliot and Auden are two people who are complete opposites。 They seem like people who wouldn't have a connection。 However, they really did。 Their chemistry was awesome。 I enjoyed the slow-burn sizzle in this book。 This book takes place over multiple years。 Normally, this is something I do not enjoy。 However, I did with this book。 It made the progression sensible。 And, when they finally get together it is super hot。 The romance pacing was good。 I loved that it was a slow burn。 I liked this book。 Elliot and Auden are two people who are complete opposites。 They seem like people who wouldn't have a connection。 However, they really did。 Their chemistry was awesome。 I enjoyed the slow-burn sizzle in this book。 This book takes place over multiple years。 Normally, this is something I do not enjoy。 However, I did with this book。 It made the progression sensible。 And, when they finally get together it is super hot。 The romance pacing was good。 I loved that it was a slow burn。 Normally, slow burn means so much angst。 There was angst, but it was nice。 It had that Mariana Zapata feel。 The setting and premise was nice。 The road trip was awesome。 The secondary characters and the places visited was awesome。 It made me more inspired to do more road trips。 The only slight criticism I have on this book is that the present day should have been longer。 I wished that we got the part where they confessed their love and the miscommunication lasted too long。 This made the ending a bit abrupt。 Despite this, I recommend you check this book out。 。。。more

I LOVED THIS BOOK!Yes the story starts when Auden and Elliot are 16。 Yes it continues for 4 years。 Yes it is 100% worth it。Witnessing these two meet, become friends all while fighting their growing feelings was so good。 They were friends first。 The attraction built over time, and each didn't want to admit to feelings。 At the end of the first summer, they said goodbye。 But that friendship continued to grow through texts, FaceTime, and phone calls。 While miles separated them, they didn't let that I LOVED THIS BOOK!Yes the story starts when Auden and Elliot are 16。 Yes it continues for 4 years。 Yes it is 100% worth it。Witnessing these two meet, become friends all while fighting their growing feelings was so good。 They were friends first。 The attraction built over time, and each didn't want to admit to feelings。 At the end of the first summer, they said goodbye。 But that friendship continued to grow through texts, FaceTime, and phone calls。 While miles separated them, they didn't let that affect their connection。 The scene at the sorority house。。。my heart。What appealed to me the most about this book was the layout。 We didn't know much of what happened when it wasn't summer time, and Auden wasn't in Canmore。 But each time she returned, Auden and Elliot picked right up。 I loved it。One thing that I would love to know is what happened after that Thanksgiving in California when Auden went home with her friend。 Yes, we know a little snippet, but did anything ever come from it? Did the two ever meet up? Clear the air? Or is it just done?I would love to return to this small town, and find out what happens with Elliot's friends, as well as Auden's cousin。 Did they find their happily ever afters? CW Farnsworth is one of my favorite authors。 When she has a new book coming out its automatically on my TBR spreadsheet without knowing anything about it because I just genuinely love her storytelling and could read her work all the time。 I jumped at the chance to read an ARC of her newest book, Like I Never Said, coming out 3/22。 And, like all her other work, it’s fantastic…I loved it! Like I Never Said by C。W。 Farnsworth is a ya stand-alone。 The storyline spans years and I fell in insta-love with the characters。Auden and Elliot are just 16 when they meet for the first time。 And they both could need a friend, one of these friends you can tell everything without being judged。Over the years they meet again and their feelings for each other grow。LINS is a beautiful, touching, heartwarming slow burn that left me with a smile on my face。A fantastic read, 5 stars。
